Appointed in June 2025, Jonathan Anderson presented his seventh womenswear offering for Christian Dior on the second day of Paris Fashion Week. Guests including Anya Taylor-Joy, Rihanna and Greta Lee descended on the French capital for the occasion. The show, held at Le Bassin Octogonal in the Jardin de Tuileries, was dedicated to long-beloved Dior executive Mathilde Favier, who died unexpectedly last summer. Anderson sent fluid tailoring, flowy dresses, ruffled accessories and mixed prints down the open-air runway. Metallic pants, billowy peplums, pastel shades, pleated petal skirts… romance was in the air.

“Disappointing. We have to accept that it’s not working.” (tiancouture)
“It feels like a more subdued version of the Fall 26 collection. Still nerdy, teenage; she has nothing to say or add to the fashion conversation.” (grates)
“Absolutely no bag was good enough to be forced to include them in almost every look. Department-store styles just add insult to injury. Poor thing.” (fashion_girl22)
“He doesn’t understand Dyer.” (Cholochik)
“An unfocused, overworked collection. Anderson, again, forgets that Dior is about silhouettes, not textures and patterns.” (quantum couture)
“Anderson’s all Dior collections rolled into one.” (MMODA)
“It’s extremely disappointing. It has absolutely no personality or vibrancy. It’s very lame and directionless and passive.” (aloe)
“I’m sorry, but some of the looks look ugly and not attractive at all! Jonathan, I didn’t expect you to do this!” (ruito)
