As always, Richard Quinn injected a strong dose of couture-esque glamor into London Fashion Week. On the third day of the 5-day event, the London-born Central Saint Martins graduate, who founded her eponymous label in 2016, reflected on the ritual of dressing by creating her own “mirror garden” paradise. The designer brought out none other than supermodel Helena Christan to the runway, who closed the show showcasing an elaborate gown with intricate floral embellishments. ’80s hyper-glamour reigned supreme throughout Quinn’s lineup. All of Quinn’s signatures were on good display. Think floor-skimming gowns in bright florals, rich satins, sequins, lace and Swarovski embellishments. The look was often completed with exaggerated sleeves, a fitted waist or a dramatic train – a dramatic elegance that is now part of their DNA.
